Hate Myspace Ads and Layouts? Do this…

September 28, 2009 - 10:51 am 2 Comments

I think the concept on Myspace is really cool that you can have friends online and maintain friendships even if you don’t talk to them. I like everything about myspace except those cheesy ads where they have Bush competing against somebody else in a race of some sort. This causes partiality on the web. The websites which have more financial backing are successful as compared to good content websites. I have even set up an online petition which has around 4000 signatures so far. Here is a list of house representatives who voted in the recent net neutrality amendment. See where the Ohio representative stands on this issue. (more…)

When India Meeting Goes MONKEY

September 28, 2009 - 10:39 am No Comments

As some / most of you know, I am going to India with Apex in a month for a couple weeks. Past saturday we had our first group meeting. It was very early in the morning and I was hoping to stay awake the whole time but the things that took place introduced a stomach ache due to excessive laughing.

While we are discussing about the things that happen in India, one of the girls who is going on the India trip, Tracy W seriously said this – “I have heard that monkeys are trained to steal from people”. The whole group burst into laughter and the laughter transformed into a series of remarks made towards monkeys. From then on, every sentence ended with a monkey or had a monkey somewhere in it. Another comment that she made was “curry soda”. I have no clue where she got it from but I thought it was funny. While Jason made fun of me with curry at his wedding rehearsal, this curry soda brought back some memories (more…)
